The Mavieape workshop, located at 2113 Candelero St, Santa Fe, NM 87505, spans just under 1,000 m². It is equipped with CNC cutting machines for precision, sanding stations for smooth finishes, and dedicated areas for natural oil and varnish treatments. Yet, what makes each product special is not only the technology but the hands and vision of the artisans who understand how a bookshelf should work in everyday life—strong, functional, and beautiful.

Each Tree Bookshelf passes through multiple stages: careful selection of lumber, shaping, carving, sanding, finishing, and final inspection. Mavieape’s focus is not only on aesthetics but also on how the bookshelf will support daily living—whether it holds books, plants, or family keepsakes, it always adds warmth and order to a room.

The core audience includes people aged 28 to 50 who want their spaces to feel organized, cozy, and welcoming. The signature collection offers ready-made designs that emphasize elegance and everyday use, while the custom line allows for adjustments in size, finish, and details to match each customer’s lifestyle and space.

The wood—solid pine, oak, and reclaimed driftwood—is sourced responsibly from suppliers such as Baillie Lumber Co. (New York) and High Desert Hardwoods (New Mexico). Each board is selected for its strength and character, ensuring bookshelves that last for years while fitting naturally into daily routines.

The Creative Process

Mavieape follows the principle of “creating beauty that serves.” When new lumber arrives at the Santa Fe workshop, it is checked for stability, texture, and durability. Only the best boards are used to craft shelves that not only look striking but also withstand the demands of everyday life.

CNC machines give precision cuts, while artisans shape edges and details that bring warmth and personality. Each surface is sanded smooth and finished with natural oils or safe varnishes, making it pleasant to touch and easy to maintain. Mavieape is powered by a team of 11 members—designers, artisans, inspectors, and customer care specialists. Each artisan has at least 5 years of woodworking experience, focusing not only on craftsmanship but also on creating furniture that feels natural in everyday life. The Quality Control team checks every product, while the Customer Care team answers within 24 hours, helping clients from first inquiry to after-sales support.

Mavieape partners with UPS, FedEx, and DHL for nationwide delivery, with every package securely prepared to arrive in perfect condition. Packaging is designed to be protective yet minimal, keeping sustainability in mind while ensuring safety.
